XL Tooling design and manufacture intricate checking fixtures mainly for the Automotive & Aerospace industries. All checking fixtures are designed using the latest in 3D CAD software allowing us to present fully working CAD models / live PDF’s prior to manufacture.
Checking fixtures are used by quality and engineering departments to assure dimensional accuracy & functional features. Features are measured to datum RFS locators, gap/flush, indicator, go-no-go, and tolerance band. It includes tools for CMM fixturing, Final Check, In Process, CNC Trim Fixtures, Assembly Fixtures, and others.
